Congratulations to those athletes that have qualified for the Vic Primary School CC team and good luck for the older athletes that are completing this Saturday at the all Schools Champs!!

Cross Country Update July 21st 2008

This week Essendon is hosting an Open day on Saturday July 26th - see www.littleathletics and follow the prompts to the Vic calendar (or see www.klac23.org.au)
Postal entries have closed but early entries on the day are fine.

Our Sunday competition this Sunday July 27th is the Ringwood Open Day - with medals for both individuals and teams. We are still awaiting info from Ringwood as to whether we need to advise names and/or pay before - will advise once we know.

You should have also received an email regarding the Presentation breakfast August 10th 09.30am . Athletes who have met the attendance criteria (minimum 5 XC meetings including Regionals and State) will be awarded with wonderful trophies during the morning. We will be tallying children's attendances this week. If you think you are close you may want to consider making sure your children run at Knox to qualify.

The Olympics are starting very soon and please put in a special cheer for Box Hill's champion pole vaulter Steve Hooker!!!

Track update - it is finished and we are looking forward to a great track and field season next year!!!! The Track and Field season is only a few months away and we will keep you posted on important dates as they come to hand.

2008 Box Hill T&F Relays Proposed Date

Please note all clubs who participate in the Box Hill Invitational Relay Day should place Sunday October 26, 2008 in your club programs.

Please note the new date for the 2009 Multi events - which is now scheduled for late January.
